Western Arts Theatre is excited to announce their junior production of ‘Honk Jr.’.

When a young duckling looks a little different from the rest he sets off on a heartfelt adventure in this joyful musical based on The Ugly Duckling. From the moment Ugly waddles into the world it is clear he does not quite fit in and when he is separated from his family his journey of self discovery truly begins.

Along the way Ugly encounters a colorful cast of farmyard characters including his loving but frazzled mother Ida a group of sneering bullfrogs flirtatious geese cunning cats and a proud elegant swan who just might hold the key to who Ugly really is. Through danger laughter and plenty of toe tapping tunes Ugly learns that being different is something to celebrate.

Filled with humor heart and unforgettable songs Honk Jr is a charming musical that reminds us all that everyone deserves a place to belong.
