Meg Warren
Biography
Meg is one of the founding members and current President of Western Arts. She took over the Presidency in 2018. Meg has spent time, both on stage and behind the scenes as Stage Manager and Director. Meg first fell in love with theatre when she played Amaryllis in The Music Man for her High School and since then, has been chasing the performance dream in productions such as Calamity Jane in ‘Calamity Jane,’ Fatina in ‘Les Miserables,’ Katherin in ‘Kiss Me Kate,’ ‘Shrek the Musical,’ as Director and Producer, and ‘Rent’ as Stage Manager. She has received Musical Theatre Guild commendations for her roles of Jack’s Mum in ‘Into the Woods,’ and Rosie in ‘The Wedding Singer,’ both for Western Arts. Meg also received an MGTV Nomination for Best Director of a Junior Production for ‘Hairspray Jnr.’ Meg is a high school English and Legal Studies teacher during the day and contributes to the performing arts program at Maribyrnong as the Director/Producer of their school musicals each year. She loves Western Arts and is grateful to have such a vibrant committee working with her.

Alexandra Karaoutsadis
Biography
Since joining Western Arts Theatre as a cast member for their first major production, ‘Rent,’ Alex was captivated by the company’s vision and passion. She has since directed productions including ‘Little Shop of Horrors,’ and the first junior production for the company, ‘Peter Pan.’ As a cast member, she has been involved in many productions including ‘Shrek,’ ‘On My Way,’ ‘Never!,’ and ‘RENT.’ Working behind the scenes, Alex has worked as Director, Choreographer, Props, and Crew for ‘Peter Pan Jr,’ ‘XYZ Cabaret,’ ‘High School Musical Jr,’ and ‘Into The Woods.’ Alex also makes most programs for the company, including all since ‘Little Shop Of Horrors.’ She has also appeared in other local community shows, such as ‘Legally Blonde,’ and ‘Tribute!’ ‘A Rock Legends Review,’ ‘Oliver!’ with ‘Altona City Theatre,’ and ‘The Wedding Singer’ with Playback Productions. Alex is extremely proud of the commitment, trust and unwavering support of the community that Western Arts has built, and is excited to see returning and new people joining the company every year.

Caroline Skinner
Biography
Since graduating in the 90’s with an Associate Diploma of Arts in Theatre Technology, Caroline has focused on the technical side of theatre taking on such roles as Stage Manager, Technical Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, and backstage crew. Some of her show credits include ‘Rent’ and ‘Footloose’ with Whitehorse, ‘West Side Story,’ with Babirra, ‘The Wedding Singer,’ ‘Shout!,’ ‘Assassins,’ and ‘Little Shop of Horrors,’ with WMTC and ‘Fiddler on the Roof,’ with MDMS. Caroline has been involved with Catchments shows such as ‘The Wiz,’ ‘Hot Mikado,’ ‘Fame,’ ‘Annie,’ ‘Grease,’ ‘Jesus Christ Superstar,’ and ‘Avenue Q.’ In 2019 Caroline stage-managed ‘Les Miserable’ with PLOS, a full-scale show and a dream to do. With Western Arts Theatre, Caroline has stage-managed ‘Shrek,’ ‘A-Z Cabaret,’ ‘Never Enough Cabaret,’ ‘Little Shop of Horrors,’ and Western Arts’ ’10th Anniversary concert.’ Caroline has been an active member of the Western Arts Committee since 2020.

Paul Santzaridis
Biography
Paul began his creative performance journey dancing with his four children in their end-of-year dance concerts at the Clocktower. He entered the amateur musical theatre community in 2019 performing in Altona City Theatre’s Pantomime. Paul worked in steel fabrication for most of his life and this allowed him to assist several local high schools with the fabrication of metal set pieces. He has always been struck by the courage and commitment of young people in the performing space. This led him to commit to a more active role in the community.
After performing in several shows, Paul joined the Western Arts Committee in 2021 as Treasurer. Since then, he has had the opportunity to expand his involvement to produce shows. Paul enjoys the diverse sense of community that the theatre community brings and looks forward to meeting and working with many more people in this amazing space.

Sarah Daly
Biography
Sarah Daly has been an integral part of Melbourne’s community theatre scene for many years, bringing her skills and dedication to a wide range of backstage roles including Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, Producer, and Mic Technician. She first became involved with Catchment Players of Darebin, where she developed a passion for supporting productions from behind the scenes. Shortly after, she joined Western Arts Theatre, where her reliability, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit have become invaluable assets to the company. Sarah now serves as Secretary of Western Arts Theatre, contributing not only to the success of productions but also to the smooth running and growth of the organisation.

David Cenzato
Biography
A passionate advocate for the performing arts, David has dedicated his life to the world of theatre. He has performed in a diverse range of roles, from classic musicals to contemporary musicals. His most notable roles were Dentist in the ‘Little Shop of Horrors,’ Fidel in ‘Witches of Eastwick,’ Reuben in ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat,’ and Herod ‘Jesus Christ Superstar.’
David has directed several productions, showcasing his vision and ability to collaborate with talented casts and crews. His directorial work on Western Arts cabarets are celebrated for their innovative approach, creativity, cast collaboration, and inclusivity. David directed the recent cabaret ‘Divaz with a Z’. A firm believer in the power of theatre to inspire and connect, David is also committed to community engagement, working as a primary school teacher to promote the arts. David has been a member of the Western Arts Theatre committee since 2016.

Sherryn Jones
Biography
Sherryn “Shez” Jones is a passionate advocate for the arts, LGBTIQ+ rights, disability inclusion, and diversity. She is thrilled to be a member of the WAT committee, as the Well-being and Inclusion officer, championing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
No stranger to the stage, Sherryn’s performance history spans an array of vibrant productions, including Magic, Music and Mystery Cabaret (Dynamic Performers Australia, DPA), Divaz with a Z Cabaret(WAT), The Wedding Singer (WAT, and The Addams Family (DPA). She brought laughter to the role of Granny in Altona City Theatre’s pantomime Little Red Riding Hood and embraced the whimsical charm of Seussical the Musical (WAT).
Sherryn continues to hone her craft, training in vocals under Jazmin Varlet of Varlet Vocals. A former dance teacher, she also holds the highest grades in Comdance (CSTD) exams in Tap and Theatrical Dance (Jazz, Ballet and Tap).
Offstage, Sherryn is a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf at St Mary’s College for the Deaf and an experienced Career Advisor. She blends creativity and care into all she does.

Mario Lucifora
Biography
Mario is new to the musical theatre world and has quickly found his place working behind the scenes. He recently joined the Western Arts Theatre Committee, supporting fundraising and Front of House, after several years of helping the company in various capacities. In 2023, he helped costume coordinate Western Arts Theatre’s production of The Wedding Singer, bringing his keen eye for detail and style to the stage.
By day, Mario brings his flair for beauty and customer care to the cosmetics industry. Formerly a Beauty Advisor for Lancôme at Myer, he has recently been promoted to Counter Manager for Yves Saint Laurent at David Jones. He is also currently studying for his Certificate III and IV in Education Support, working toward a career as a Learning Support Officer in schools.
Mario’s warmth, enthusiasm, and commitment shine through in everything he does.

Martin Nguyen
Biography
Martin has only just entered the world of musical theatre and is absolutely loving it! He is especially proud to be a part of the Western Arts Theatre committee, considering he made his debut stage appearance in their production of ‘The Wedding Singer.’ (2023) He made his lead debut as Musidorus in ‘Head Over Heels,’ (2024) with CentreStage followed by Lewis in ‘Pippin’ (2025). He is now in the cast in the ensemble of & Juliet with CentreStage (2026).
When off stage, Martin is in the classroom inspiring the next generation of students as a Year 7 and 8 English Teacher, whilst studying a teaching degree.

Imogen Rawlings
Biography
Imogen is no stranger to the stage and yet always finds herself returning to Western Arts. Having a love and understanding for marketing and social media, Imogen is honoured to be part of the Western Arts Committee focusing on the company’s social media and maintaining a community theatre space that she’s proud to be part of. Most recently, Imogen played Cecile Caldwell in Phoenix Theatre’s production of ‘Cruel Intentions.’ Imogen also was an onstage ensemble cover for the role of Serena in Soundworks production of ‘Fame.’ Beyond this, she’s had the joy of playing Fran in ‘Strictly Ballroom,’ Sandy in ‘Grease,’ and Winifred Banks in ‘Mary Poppins,’ with her high school. She made her production team debut in 2023 assistant directting/choreographing ‘Rock of Ages: Teen Edition’ with Western Arts and has been part of various Western Arts shows and cabarets.

Grace Risson
Biography
Grace has been a member of Western Arts since 2024 after moving to Melbourne from country Victoria. She fell in love with WAT during her first show (DivaZ Cabaret) and hasn’t left since! More recently, she has discovered a love for backstage after being on the production team of Addams Family Jnr and looks forward to getting more involved behind the scenes in future productions. Grace is dedicated to the vision of Western Arts to create a safe and welcoming community for people to explore, grow, and perform. She’s excited to contribute to the committee building policies and help foster the inclusive, creative environment that drew her to WAT in the first place.

Tim Warren
Biography
Tim started in amateur theatre in the early 1990s wearing tights, make-up and singing ‘Tzing Boom’ in Diamond Valley Singer’s Iolanthe and has not looked back. He met his amazing wife in a musical and has made many long time friends in the theatre. Although he has played some lead roles including Sid in Diamond Valley Singer’s ‘The Pajama Game’ and Captain Hook in St Gabrielle Theatre’s ‘Peter Pan’ for the past few years he has stayed out of the way in behind the scene roles. He has produced several shows and loves when people enjoy experience the magic of theatre.
